History holds a corner bar stool at the Historic London pubs visited on this tour - battles have been planned by legendary heroes, plays penned by budding writers, and plots hatched by scoundrels - all over a pint of ale in a half-timbered public house with sawdust on the floor and bottles glinting through the smoke and fog of Victorian London. The smoke's gone now, but the atmosphere's still there - our expert Guide will take you to the pubs off the tourist trail where you step into another world of timbered buildings, low roofs, and fine hospitality. The story of each of the pubs you'll visit weaves in and out of the story of this great, brave City, which once stood at the heart of the British Empire - spend a relaxing, atmospheric evening on the Historic London Pubs tour.
